Designed and renovated by Guided Design, this early-1900s Chicago eight-unit building was restored to preserve its historic character while adding modern functionality. Original oak moldings and casings were carefully matched and distressed to blend with the existing finishes. The vintage-inspired kitchen features black soapstone countertops with a routed drainboard, black stainless steel appliances, and a movable island for flexibility. Custom ceiling details allowed for modern lighting, while restored antique doors and updated gas lamp fixtures complete the timeless look.
